If I watch any more I'll continue to post my thoughts here. I skipped Roboticus because I watched at least part of it once and I wanted something new, so I watched S3 E2 The Greatest Gift.


Firstly, I couldn't help but notice a lot of reused elements:

-For heaven's sake, why is it Ziggy's Birthday again? Give one of the other characters a chance.

-Milford gets flattened between the wall and the door when Bessy bursts in, reminiscent of when Robbie bursts in in Swiped Sweets.

-Chloe asks Milford if she can have the party at their house, reminiscent of when Julianna asks the same question in Miss Roberta. I actually paused to go back and watch the Julianna version. I don't mean to rag on Chloe through these reviews, but it really showed how much more expressive range Julianna had.


There have been a lot of instances of Singy having a hard time giving, but this was a whole episode about it. I thought the moral lesson (that it's fun to give) was much clearer than a lot of the morals in S1, which are muddled at best.

Stingy saying he can't go to the party because tomorrow he's "going to have a cold" was hilarious and relatable. The leave policy is so bad where I work that people frequently say they feel like they're starting to come down with something (wink), and then call out sick the next day just to get a day off.

I liked Ziggy talking to himself in the mirror in an allusion to the showdown scene of an old Western. "Are you saying happy birthday to me?" "I don't see anyone else, birthday boy."

Milford mixes up his identical water and soap spray bottles and kills a vase of tulips before frantically tossing them out the window so Bessie doesn't notice, which I thought was a minor character assassination. Milford is a dope and he knows it, but he's also the mayor and Stephanie's wise uncle. It's totally a mistake he would make, but he wouldn't hide it like a child trying to put the blame on someone else; he would shake his head at what a fool he is. It was also funny that they made the effort to establish the similar looking spray bottles early in the episode only for it to be a 2 second throwaway joke. I thought it would have a plot relevant consequence.

There's lots of precedent for Robbie letting slip that, despite his aloof exterior, he actually wants to be included in things (LazyTown's Surprise Santa, LazyTown's Greatest Hits). I like that he gets to join in the party and seems to forget himself and have fun.

so, ive been thinking to do a fan LazyTown Visual Novel. it's like that one sonic murder mystery visual novel and they took place in a cruise ship. the LazyTown Visual Novel will also be like that ( except without Sonic characters... ). i already have a solid foundation/idea for this project but let me know what you guys think!

ok without further ado, here's the idea

WHO KILLED THE NUMBER 10?

Sportacus 10 was killed on The Lazy Cruise! Detective Pink will find out for clues and ask questions to the suspects and frame the killer once and for all!

The Troublebys ( Trixie Troubleby and Turbo Troubleby, well meet him later... ): one of the ship's crew members on The Lazy Cruise

okay, so that's my idea on this visual novel project! i added some characters from the Pre-Lazytown plays ( Latibaer ) and books!
oh yeah, this is what Turbo ( aka Halli Hrekkjúsvin from Latibær í Vandræðum, he's known as Trixie's/Halla's twin brother in the books ) looks like;

i headcanon him as this rebellious 12 year old with uncontrollable anger issues. he's also Trixie's older brother than her twin brother.
