After some thought and consideration, I have come to a conclusion. This arguement is *drumroll* well there's no nice way to put it.. it's BUH BUH BUH BULLSHIT.
Go Step Go is one of more complex songs to be produced by LazyTown. If you don't like simple songs, that's fine, but then you're watching the wrong show and posting on the wrong forum. You want to talk simple - look at Bing Bang, Gizmo Guy, Galaxy etc. etc. Go Step Go uses several more instruments than any song listed as well a much larger use of backing vocals. The only real difference between Go Step Go and most other LazyTown songs [and yes I identify that there is a difference] is that the arrangement is much more mainstream than usual which makes it... less simple in that aspect too. I don't know what you guys were expecting, but this shit ain't simple.

Stingy - I only have an answer to you: **** YOU
Yes, with big words. How dare you tell me I am not in the correct show and correct forum? I am one of the best fans of LazyTown, and you know it, it is my opinion, I love the rest of songs, I like this one, I listened it several times (I like the music, but the lyrics not so much), but I think this song not like other songs made for the TV Series. That´s my opinion, you have your opinion, I have mine, but I love LazyTown and everybody know it. If I don´t like LazyTown, why I make few favours for you? For example, the interview with Magnús. Or I ask Máni or Suzanne few things which maybe they can gets angry but I ask them, huh? And why I try to talk with you when you have an idea and I try you think the correct idea? For example, when a LazyTowner travelled to Iceland, but he didn´t want go to the Studio and I said it was a big opportunity, huh? How dare you tell me I am not a good fan? YOU ARE in the incorrect show and incorrect forum.
And finally, while someone appreciates my work, I will continue here, helping you and getting news to you.
I´m sorry for the profane word, but..., I couldn´t stand it anymore.

To Beticaforever and Stingy (with all respect and friendship that I have for you both):
Every time we talk about music or movies (or whatever other issue involving value judgments) immediately we are talking about something that is inherently associated with human nature: personal preferences.
It is possible to speak about a general consensus on some of these things. For instance, for most of the people it is possible to enjoy or not those things and for diverse reasons (some of them highly justified from a technical or artistic point of view and others because simply awake significant emotions). You can consider or not those reasons, it's your decision. Nevertheless, there is not any valid reason to feel bad or upset if your personal preferences are on the opposite side of this consensus (whatever it may be).
Obviously, I'm talking about personal preferences that don't contradict the basic principles of life, under which we live.
On the other hand, to imply or suggest the divergence of opinions (on this matter) as a valid reason for people to exclude themselves (or censure themselves) of a discussion forum like GL because their opinions, vision, knowledge or preferences don't coincide with yours, is simply absurd. I think there is space for divergence, tolerance and interchange of opinions, at a reasonable level, of course. I have to admit the divergence of opinions sometimes is hard to handle, specially when they reach high levels of passion and/or violence. However, I think this is not the case (yet) here and now. Please, let’s respect our diverse personal preferences. There is no need to make fun of it or use insults to defend our opinions (I’m talking to you both). This is not a competition to know who's the best LT fan ever, seriously.
Regarding to “Go Step Go”, you can like it or not: it's a matter of personal preferences.
Only to make it clear: I’m not talking about the campaign of “Go Step Go” or its good intentions. I’m not talking about the artistic talent involved into this project either.
I’m talking about the song itself: at the end of the day, no matter how complex or easy of composing, singing and/or filming it was. You gonna like it or not based on your own personal preferences.
For me, it resulted disappointing (again, this is my opinion) when you compare it to previous LT songs.
“Go Step Go” it’s not the worst LazyTown song either: to say that would be really unfair. But in my personal list of the best 30 or 35 LazyTown songs, "GSG" wouldn't occupy one of the first places.
I hope my words and intentions can be understood in the best possible way.
