The puppets you saw in the pilot are the only ones that were developed afaik. Bessie, Milford, Stingy, and Trixie were all in the form of maquettes, which is what you see there.

I didn't know that puppets were also made for the Mayor and Bessie. I haven't seen this pic before. Does anyone know why only two puppets were used for the unaired pilot?

The only clip that we have (and maybe the only one we will ever) is the one posted by Shelby seen earlier in this topic.

It is common for pilots to change quite a bit between themselves and the actual series.
What happens is someone comes to a company with an idea. If they like it, they give them a small amount of money and basically say "show me what you can do with this." If they like what they see, they give the creator and the team much more money to create the real deal, perhaps after altering the idea to fit their standards. Odds are they didn't have the time or money to create all the puppets. They did create some sort of models for them, however. Although I know the pic is uploaded somewhere around here, I can't find it. So here it is again:



I could have sworn there was a picture with Bessie and the Mayor as well but I can't seem to find it now..
By the looks of Trixie and Stingy, my guess is that they are fairly small clay or ceramic models.
