Ryanfilms have set up a website… http://www.afixthemovie.com/ , which gives a link to their forums, where, if you want, you can ask questions about the film.

The latest news appears to be…..

“A Fix” screened August 13th in Bristol CT before the performance of the play "Runaway Home".
Here's some links to a few pictures of the play's cast and Skye who attended the performance.

It looks like the first film festival "a Fix" to play at will be Sidewalk in Birmingham AL at the end of September.
Sidewalk is AL's biggest Film Festival. http://www.sidewalkfest.com/

    Info on "A Fix?"

Hi, I'm new here. After I read about A Fix on IMDB, I was googling. I found out that A Fix is a short film that is meant to be a prequel to the musical "Runaway Home."

Here's my source (you have to scroll down): http://www.courant.com/community/hc-com ... xt=Bristol

The musical apparently started in Oct. 2006 (http://www.pbase.com/ronnylight/runaway_home), ending its first run in February 2007 (http://judyrodman.blogspot.com/2007/02/ ... first.html) and most recently ran in NY & Connecticut (http://judyrodman.blogspot.com/2007/02/ ... first.html).

The official site for the musical is down http://www.runawayhomethemusical.com .

You probably all know all this already but it's news to me, I had no idea about the musical (which apparently doesn't star Julianna http://legacy.decaturdaily.com/decaturd ... main.shtml). Since the official site is down I was hoping you guys might have figured out where or when this musical and the film will be released on DVD? Or when the musical might take a tour?

A few days ago Solarfire45 on the IMDB boards re-posted the pics of Julianna I posted here, which prompted the producers, Ryanfilms, to “play ball” and provide a link to many, many more pics of her and the other actors and crew “behind the scenes” of this film…. far too many to post here, so here is the link…. go get, and have fun…

    http://nailhead.fotki.com/2007/a-fix/

most of Juli’s pics are on the last 2 albums…01-01-08 and 01-02-08….
    here’s a couple or 3 of them…………..

(many thanks to Ryanfilms. The latest news (Jun 17 2008 ) from them is “We have just started submitting "a Fix" to festivals. The lead time from submission to the festival is usually 6 months to a year”)

I believe the 30 min. short version (which is all they are doing at the moment) has been completed, and was given a public showing in Decatur early last month.

It is now supposed to do the rounds of International Film Festivals, to get support for a full blown version, but the producers may also put it up on the net, as they did with the trailer.
    I dunno.

Uh uh, I see, I didn't hear anything more about the movie so I thought IMD wasn't up-to-date

Well, it says 2008 on imdb. And I read somewhere, that it'll come out around August, don't know where I read it though, forgot.

And lol @ that last pic.

I've been told she looks too much like Angelina Jolie, though...
but the point still stands. Stephanie/Julianna>You.
