We did a secret santa at work and I was unlucky enough to get the general manager as my gift-giver. Now, he is stupid. I can't explain his stupidity, but he is a special kind of stupid. For this example his egocentric stupidity was showing, meaning that he thinks that everyone thinks exactly like he does. As my gift, he got me an Arizona sports hat from his college. Few problems with that. I don't like sports, I certainly don't care about his college or state, and I don't even wear hats anyway. He could have figured that out without any problem. The good news is that I was forced to open it during the daily staff meeting we were having, so the entire staff got to witness the selfish gift he got me. It didn't bother me at first, but as the night went on the more it pissed me off. However, a beautiful person named Eirin works there who got me a card the next day that said "Thanks for taking one for the team" and had a 25 GameStop gift card included.
