Personally I think some idiot at microsoft took a page from ytmnd and their voting system where it
favors the downvoter. I'm mean seriously faggots are too lazy to do simple math and just make the score the lowest of one your hardware.

Let's total yours up and see the final score 25.5/5=5.1 sure as hell better than that 2.9

Mine should be 7.3+7.5+7.1+7.1+5.8=34.8/5=6.96

My drives are slow yes but I prefer reliability over speed and failure any day.

I don't care if my graphic score is too low, I don't play games, I go for speed instead of a nice visualisation.

So for me it's 6.9+6.1+6.4=19.4 ==> 19.4/3 = 6.5 haa even better

I have two CD's, one is bootable in a linux enviroment where you can restore your (earlier made) backup from your complete HDD in less than 20 minutes. You can do a lot more but that is the main reason I use it. I did that with winXP about every month and I'm planning on doing that with my win7 as well. Don't care about that built-in image-backup. I use Paragon.
I'm sure you all have a back-up of your system ?

That's a new future in Windows 7 to restore a 1/1 image of the system. It should be possible to restore from an external USB-hardrive, but never tested. This is a > 30GB image. How much time it takes I don't know.

Nah, I've never bothered with that crap. I only backup my data which is more important than backing up the entire system. If the system crashes or becomes bogged down I just reinstall the OS and all the programs for a nice fresh start. Right now I've taken up 128 gigs on the C: install drive and I'm not even done with program installs you can imagine how many cd's that would take up or even dual layer dvds for a complete drive image backup.

IMO mechanical hard drives are so 20th century though. I'm waiting for better, cheaper and bigger (gig size) solid state drives. Right now the prices on those are still in the nose bleed section.

Speaking of Linux I started chuckling to myself last night when I saw a cab with one of those lcd advert panels on the roof displaying a Linux crash screen. Pity I didn't have my camera with me for such an epic picture.
