The manufactory of my PC gives me all the drivers I need but that wasn't necessary, almost everything worked. I just needed one driver, only for the soundcard this time because that didn't work directly, the rest was ok. For the rest I haven't got any problems with incompatibility.

Use ESET NOD32 Antivirus. The best there is and lightning fast.
Have purchased Windows 7 and new computer a week ago, but not unpacked yet

I had winXP professional and I have now the Win 7 professional. A friend of mine has a student licence, there were two versions available (ultimate and professional) and bought the Ultimate version for about €75, and I got the Professional for about €55. Bought Windows 7 today because I was too curious. Installing was easy, got a little problem with the sound and my virusscanner was not compatible (but I still run it because I have no other).
