Elf becomes villain

Magnús Scheving has reached Albuquerque where shooting of action hero Jackie Chan's latest film, The Spy Next Door, starts tomorrow. In that film, Magnús plays the role of the villain. He says its a big honour, but that it means more to LazyTown than to himself personally.


Magnús says that this is a family film. "Jackie Chan is aiming for a younger group than before. My character, Poldark, is a Russian who puts a bacteria in the oil in the USA in order to push up the price of oil in Russia. He then has the bad luck of a 9 year old boy stealing all the data from his computer, and then everything starts. Jackie Chan plays a guy who watches over that boy.

He plans to go abroad three times during the making of the film, now and again in December and January. The film is planned to premiere in about a year.

As cool as this movie might be, I'm not watching it unless it's in English.

I can't imagine it being in Chinese and Icelandic, personally... stranger things have happened though. :)

If anyone knows anyone willing to do a translation, then please put me in contact with them. :) For those that don't know, translating is a lot of work, you will have to tell the person that ahead of time.
