Back on topic: Okay, here's what I think's gonna happen. In the US, it'll be all hyped up as a film where Billy Ray Shi- I mean Cyrus and George Lopez (I know the name, but what the hell does he do? Curse me not being American). However, in the UK, where LT is a much, MUCH bigger thing than in the US, Magnus will be hyped up as the main co-star, Sportacus, the Mr. Nice Guy of kids TV becomes a villain.

So to all those who want to see Magnus as a major player in the thing, get yer arses to the UK XD

i do think UK will get the film released first. if not first probably easter, as we get the cheesy films released at easter. not that i'm saying the film looks cheesy :oops: ha.

I forgot about this topic, I probably should have posted in here instead of that other one. The sites with trailers should be downloadable with DownloadHelper.

I don't know too much about the warez movie scene, but as others have said those torrents are probably fake. Some common things to look for are the groups name at the end of the torrent. In this case, it's -MAX, so the group name is MAX. Normally the vowels are lowercase, so this makes me suspicious already. Also, the torrent claims to be a recording from a theater, the TS (Telesync). We now have 2 things we can search for. First, see if there is such a group called MAX and notice their pattern of releases, if they do exist. Second thing to search for is to see if there are any screenings of the movie. If there are no screenings, then the torrent is probably a fake. Other people post fake torrents for other TV shows and movies, The Spy Next Door is not a special case.

Initial searching has shown that MAX is a real group, so my guess about the vowels is wrong. Next thing to search for is to see if other sites have uploaded it along with screenshots. Another thing to look for are NFO text files, all warez groups will release an NFO file so you can see extra information.

Proof MAX exists in one form or another: http://anonym.to/?http://www.mininova.org/tor/3025046 . Follow the link in the description and you'll see there are screenshots proving the torrent is actually what it says it is. Mininova is one of the more famous torrent indexing sites that allow comments where users will say if a torrent is fake and where a user can report fakes. A search on Mininova does not give any results for The Spy Next Door, so the torrent linked before is leaning more towards being fake.

Finally, knowing that The Spy Next Door is a modern movie, search sites like rlslog.net or zerosec.ws to see if the warez scene actually released it; another thing to search for are Rapidshare downloads (and other file hosting sites). Not always a perfect solution for rare things. The final, final thing is to search usenet listings to see any warez group released it. This will always be the first place a warez group will release something. However, there have been some illegal movie cam versions showing up in the P2P area, which just goes back to torrent searching.

From what little I know, those torrents are fake.

It's always possible I'm wrong, so you can download it, but do it at your own risk and don't risk anyone else's computer. I recommend having anti-malware programs up, up-to-date, and running. Or using a Virtual PC to test out anything suspcious.
