I highly doubt Johnny Depp is gay. The thing with Jack Sparrow was he was trying to think of how to do a washed up Pirate who's been out to see and on that island for long and his brain is pretty much fizzle popped. With Willy Wonka he just tried to reenact what he felt the Willy Wonka was from the novel rather the original movie. He's very talented, but I really don't think he's gay.

If he is, I don't think he ever said so. Playing somewhat feminine parts doesnt really make someone gay though. Though I saw a video, on youtube I think, where a director or something handcuffed himself to Johhny and ate the key, after which Johnny kissed him on the lips. Not just a little peck either.
