Well I think it has more to do with the fact that she was just made a mod and then she disappeared. But it really isn't a big deal. It is quite healthy to leave technology behind for days at a time.

For the people who nominated pooky to be a mod, you don't have to worry that you caused her to leave. She was already gone from GetLazy before she became a mod.

As far as I know, she doesn't even know she's a mod. If you were to only go on the last time she logged in, then this would have been the last post she saw [Posted: Mon Oct 26, 2009 8:01 pm]: viewtopic.php?p=51689#p51689

This, of course, ignores other things like logging in as a guest and other related stuff.

Thanks, ooozmin, for the information. I was a little worried about what happened. In some ways, I can understand the disappearing. I've done that myself a few times over the years and people got worried that lost4ever and I were taken out by the California fires.

I emailed her, I got this in reply:

"Hello I don't know how urgent this is because of the urgent marker in the post so I will respond to this message instead of Poek, she ask me to take care of her laptop and messages as her big brother and that includes respond to them if necessary. I'm sorry man, it looks like she took off for a break without letting most of her friends know and probably she is somewhere in the middle of nowhere for another week or so, I can't tell because of her impulsive caracter.
Her facebook account is deactivated, I saw a message in her mailbox but I don't know the reason for that.
It's not much information, I don't know how close you are to her and offcourse that's not of my business but I seriously believe that when you don't know her that well and she is gone so suddenly, you are worried that something happened. But you know her a little better than other people I guess.
When I speak to her I will tell her that you contacted her and if there is something important I or our sister will let you know.

Your right about taking a break from things, but in this case, wrong about Pook.
It's not just GL, it's the whole net...and it's been going on since before her promotion.

Heh yeah. I didn't take it seriously enough lol.
I sort of find it ironic considering, sure, the changes are lame, but you can revert it back, to even what I would call a more organized page by simply changing a few options. I wonder how long it will be until she reactivates.

I just wish that people would cause this much of a fuss if I was to disappear!

lol yes all the rumors are true, I am best friends with pooks but I decided to go ape on her and kidnap her and chop her up and she is in little pieces under my bed right now!
