Thank god it never made it past the pilot. From what I saw of it it reminded me of a grown up version of Saved by the Bell heh. Can't believe all those 14 American writers that was the best they could come up with.

Aren't remakes always inferior? I don't understand why they keep trying. I'm looking at you, The Office. Also, I recently came across the British remake of That 70's Show:

I don't get it. If you're going to remake something scene for scene but less good, what's the point?

The only thing I can figure is that the suits think people would be more comfortable when the actors are using
that country's accents and replacing one liners with that country's subject matter. I never had any problem understanding
Brit slang or Jokes or even Australian ones for that matter (Bing bang didgeridoo).

The "pleasure" of reading:
