    Visit to Borgarnes LazyTown Museum

I’m going to Iceland soon. I’d like to go to Borgarnes but it’s hard to tell whether the auto museum is open, or even what its exact address is.

Cool. I'd go just for the Northern Lights spectacle. But knowing my luck, it would be cloudy the whole time.

It’s probably too early in the year for norther lights. Maybe, though!

[Julianna] says that one of her favorite things to do in Iceland is to go swimming, and points out that the slide in the Árbæjar pool is awesome.

I love hot water and I had a couple hours to spare, so I couldn’t help but go. I think it’s funny where your hobbies lead you, and I was happy to have something off the tourist-track to do. It was a very nice pool.

I think celebrity worship is dumb, but it did feel like a sacred pilgrimage to go somewhere connected with this show and character.

Yeah, they don’t have an a website but their Facebook (which hasn’t been updated in 5 years) says they’re open Saturdays 13-15, but I have obligations Saturday that will prevent me from going up to check.

So strange how organizations don't maintain even a simple web page.

Can't someone call for you and ask?

Probably, but I don’t have time now anyway. If I could have known in advance I would have scheduled around it.

I can't help with that but I'm hoping you have/had a good trip

BRBFBI Do you at least go to Magnus' restaurant? He co-owns the seafood restaurant ROK in Reykjavík, Iceland.

I knew right where that was when I saw the picture! I walked passed it numerous times but I had no idea it was his. I should have asked if there were any other LT related things to look out for while I was there.

                    Interesting article on the restaurant

                    https://grapevine.is/food/review/202...rime-location/

He says it is cheap but when I do the conversions it sure sounds expensive to me. And the price he mentions in general for cocktails in Iceland - holy cow

Iceland is extremely pricey. I don't get why the cocktails cost as much as a main course, though.

On the other hand, in the first grocery store I stepped into I grabbed these carrots off the shelf before I even realized their branding. After having this show tied up with this country in my mind for so long, it was funnily satisfying to come across something Latibaer branded on day one. Of course it was Chloe so I didn't get too excited.
