    LazyTown Museum

Apparently there has been a small LazyTown museum located at the Borgarnes Transportation Museum in Borgarnes, Iceland since May 2017. I had no idea about this, and am honestly a little annoyed because I was JUST there haha... I'll have to find out who the curator is and contact them to make sure that I don't miss my chance to visit the exhibit. I might have to make another trip to the country a lot sooner than I thought.

This answers one of our questions about where the old set pieces are. At least some of them made it, and they are here :)

        These pictures raise some questions.
For one, why did the original puppets survive and not the more recent ones?
What happened to them besides Trixie and Milford?
If you look closely, the Ziggy puppet is the one from the Shelby Young pilot, so where's the corresponding Pixel?
        Also, where's Stingy?
What happened to the original Halla and the mayor?
Where's the rest of the stuff?
Does the Stephanie puppet still exist somewhere?

I was able to speak to someone from the museum, and they informed me that the exhibit is meant to be permanent.

Maybe they've got more and they'll rotate after a certain period of time? who knows.
I know with centuries old works of art, if it's not "there" it's on loan to another place, maybe one of the puppet museums in the UK or America have some, I know there's an original Fozzie Bear on display in the UK.

I must say, this has to be Robbie's most convincing disguise so far. Almost had me fooled. ;)

Seriously though, great to see Stefán back in that legendary chair!!! Must be a really recent pic too if the museum opened in May, but most likely taken before they got the news about his cancer returning. :/

I didn't recognize Magnús at all at first. Amazing how he's over 50 now but still hasn't gone grey. And about that pic with the puppets, I can't believe Stingy is letting Trixie ride in HIS car!!! Anyway, this is amazing and I wish I could go, but I haven't even been to Iceland in the first place. The only other Nordic country I've visited is Finland (more specifically, the Helsinki airport).

This is amazing. I've been and it's great to look at everything they've created dating back to what, 2000?
I would love to go to the LazyTown kind of..... play area in Dubai. That looks cool too.

There's a lot more on display than in these photo's I hope?

Also, is Robbie's orange chair a photo oppertunity? Do they let you sit in it? Or is it roped off?

Yeah. It's a small museum but there is a lot more on display than in those pictures. Robbies chair is not roped off, and is certainly a photo opportunity.

Do you know if they will be putting the scripts in here? Personal tablets were not as common during 2000's meaning physical scripts existed somewhere. That is such an important part of the LazyTown history.
