Just bringing his children to local Disneyland, that's it, nothing personal. Although I tend to beleive that some kids are slightly (or highly) dissapointd by what they see, compared to what they saw on tv. Robbie's lair looks quite solid, though, if it's fully assebmled.

Although I tend to beleive that some kids are slightly (or highly) dissapointd by what they see, compared to what they saw on tv

the seeming and the reality....kids can't learn this lesson early enough...afaik Stingy felt the same as he realized that the studios are a bit messy and most of the props are made of wood

It's not quite that simple. I was surprised how messy some of the stuff was off-camera, yes, but I never fooled myself into thinking that I was going somewhere that doesn't exist. There is a strange break in reality, but it isn't disappointment or anything like that. Nothing negative.
