Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.

"Ziggy becomes alcoholic and Pixel works at Apple" sounds like a good pilot episode teehee 👍

If they want to make new series in the same style they might buy back the studio. Positive thing is that the building is brand new after the fire destroyed it in 2018. I don't really care where they made new series. Iceland would be the first choice. USA is not a good second option right now. Maybe the UK or elsewhere in Europe.

Well season 3 was made in the UK. And I don't care what anyone else thinks. Season 3 was epic.

So yeah if they end up remaking LazyTown the studios should be nowhere but Iceland or the UK.

returning to this thread just to say, if LazyTown would be animated, the animators would probably go the lazier route and just make the background people either face-less blobs, or make them not move at all

We'll have to ask Magnús about that in the next interview, because he's never mentioned it or ask for, whether he likes cartoons or not. If he doesn't like cartoons, it won't get created, and this conversation would be pointless.

He hasn't mentioned anything about the animated part of Once Upon A Time episode in previous interviews?
Could start from there if he did.

At 12:53 (The animation was pretty good)

Hmmm, not finding anything. Surprised no one has asked him about the animated Lazytown segment.

This showed up in the search but no mention there.

And why is it used in a segment about Robbie Rotten

I watched/listen/read to every interview with Magnús available. Most of the time the same questions were asked. Only some (hardcore) fan interviews go into it a bit deeper but this question has never been asked. Like: "How do you see the show continuing? With puppets or animated?".

Rather surprised that no one ever asked about that animated segment in once upon a time. I know we've talked
about it around here. Trying to remember if anyone else from the show was asked. No one is coming to mind though.

I always remembered it as being a photoshop from one of us.
Was that Icelandic Cheerios Steph box ever produced? Or was it just a promo?
