    Re: LazyTown Iconified?

To me, what makes LazyTown special is that it is ultra-colourful, humorous, witty, musical, a bit odd, and isn't "dumbed down" for the kids. The writing makes an effort to not talk down to its viewers and approaches the episodes with the intention of just great storytelling. You don't get that often with children's shows.

Modern Sesame Street does all three as well.

Something very iconic about LazyTown is the cold openings for every episode! With Sportacus doing a few tricks, saying a punchline related to health then the intro kicks in.
Uno dos tres, si me gusta OLIVE OIL!
