Most likely because Turner doesn't want them on youtube for copyright reasons, so they are only available in other places.

You pretty much answered your own question, Beboy, when you said in the other thread that they still air LazyTown on Sprout in the US.
Clearly the European distributors license has expired, which means the channel can freely show it to us Eurofags.

Just wait 'til Sprout stops airing. Check which season they're at now. I can only imagine this time will be one of the last repeats of the series.

Maybe after that, LT Official would upload EVERY episode on YouTube, which would be great so then we wouldn't have to worry about Bado or Sonna getting copyright claims from DHX/Turner.

I don't know if this counts as a curiosity, the word for Sportacus' mini-pod transporter thing (skutla) has a double meaning in Icelandic
It can mean a shuttle, like what Sportacus has. However, it's also slang for "babe" :xd:
