Because it was a (failed) silly joke in a wholesome, family-friendly kid's show

I think pretty much every scene where Ziggy "interviews" kids in Extra is stilted and overall weird.

Also the scene in "Time to Learn" where Robbie just starts munching on the banana peel
Robbie's intelligence level has no continuity honestly

I would have to say in "LazyTown goes digital" where Ziggy gets buried in pizza and just cares about his chocolate being topped off by him offering a slice to Sportacus

Wait, what? Was this the real Sportacus or disguised Robbie? I assume real Sportacus since disguised Robbie just wanted them to eat junk food if I remember correctly, which makes this even weirder :s
