What they could do is, just stop trying to make Stephanie 8 and just make a next series a few years in the future so she looks more her age anyway

But than she is still playing with those kids who never grow and get older. If you make the puppetkids older then it would not be a childrenserie anymore because they can't identify with them. I know that ziggy is the fav puppet amongst these young kids (at least my nephews and nieces - age 3 to 12 think so).
I think the best thing is to change Stephanie al the time to make the serie continue, because the kids don't see the difference. All they see is the pink and happyness. But WE don't want that, do we !

they could use camera tricks to make Stephanie look smaller, they seemed to do that during season 2 anyway

it's just that in Lazytown Extra she really did look far too old to be playing an 8 year old

Jives* is a character that never made it through to the TV show. He got lost in production after Glanni Glæpur. Probably partly due to color coordination. But this makes me question, how lost is he really?
