Speaking of not going to school, we get an extra week of break where I am

But you never go to school on Aussie Day - it's in January and summer break is the whole of January. Or am I confused?

I live in a different state so it’s different (I’m not sure when primary school starts). In my state you don’t start high school until two days after Aus day If you’re in 7,11 & 12. Then if you are in 8,9,10 you start three days after Aus day

I also looked again at my state school calendar primary schools, 7, 11, 12 start on the 28th. While 8,9,10 starts on 29th

Almost forgot 10,11,12 (high school seniors) end term 4 in November. Not December because of graduation and/or more higher up exams (I don’t know how to explain the exams). That’s only thing I know is the same for all or most states
