I figured it might be fun to do competitions to see who can do the best voice impressions of the Lazy Town characters. I don't really have details worked out but I figured I'll just put it out here to see if anyone is interested.
*Sorry in advance if I'm unaware of a big reason that would make this difficult.
How it could work:
-My original idea was to do the competition between forum members but it would also be cool to reach out to more people somehow.
-Every month or so we could hold a competition for a different Lazy Town character.
-We could decide on a few sentences to say and the contestants can submit voice recordings that can then be judged (by, uh, someone).
-As for the winners I can't really think of a good prize idea but the contest could easily be just for fun.
Here's a cool idea though.
If the contest goes well enough and we actually find people that can sound somewhat like the characters than we could possibly get them to read the dialogue in Lazy Town 'fan fictions' and sort of put together our own Lazy Town extended universe episodes. These could be kind of like the "Christmas in Lazy Town" audio play.
By the way when I say 'fan fictions' I'm talking about ones that stay true to the original show.
Anyways, just a fun thought I had late at night one day.
Cheers!
Edit:
Since there is some interest in this I figured that I would look into making this happen.
