    Hebrew dub fun facts!

I'm only back on the forum for a few days, but I've been thinking it will be fun to write some trivia and facts about the Hebrew production and the cast!
    • While Stephanie's voice sounds a bit changed in season 3-4, it's still the same dubbing-actress from the original seasons, Liana Ayoun. Obviously it changed because Liana has grown up (she's about 3 years younger than Juliana) and her voice got deeper, and you can hear that she can't reach that high note anymore...
    • Uri Omanuti, the dubbing-actor of Sportacus, also portrayed him in the first annual show of Motek Shel Festival in December 2008 (LazyTown started in Israel about 6 months before), by Hop! Channel.
    • "LazyTown Extra" was referred to as the third season when it aired, because it's not really working in Hebrew to call it "Neve Atzlanut Extra", it's too long. Therefore, in the first airing of seasons 3-4 in Hebrew, they were referred to as seasons 4-5. Today, seasons 3-4 are still 3-4, but LazyTown Extra in Hebrew is considered lost media (although you can still find the theme song on YouTube).
    • While Uri Omanuti was doing also Sportacus' singing, there was one time only where he was replaced by Dedi Sohar - the singer of the theme song (also for Extra). It was in the song "Let's Go" from "Sportacus Saves the Toys".
    • Orit Amir was the original voice for Ziggy. However, it seems that after LazyTown Extra she retired from dubbing. In seasons 3-4 she was replaced by Loren Savir. IMO, while I know Loren's job and she's great, Orit was a much better Ziggy.
    • Daniel Efrat, Pixel's voice, also retired from dubbing after the last season. However, he didn't do a lot of projects, so...
    • Hen Hagai, Stingy's ✨iconic✨ Hebrew voice, also retired from dubbing after the last season. Technically, he retired before that, in 2008, but returned especially to voice Stingy again in the last two seasons. Hen Hagai has a history in Hop! Channel as some sort of "host" or whatever you call it, so I literally grew up with this guy lol
    • Eli Lulai, the great dubbing-actor of Milford, used to be the lead singer in an Israeli rock band called Rockfour. However, when he started to do dubbing projects, he had to use a fake name for the credits, because his bandmates didn't like the fact that he was also dubbing for kids' cartoons. But, due to him being a singer, he performed many theme songs, with the most famous in Israel being "Arthur" theme song!
    • The only guest to be actually credited for his role in the dub was Simcha Barbiro as the Genie. Other dubbing-actors are just credited as "various characters".
    • Orna Katz, the main dubbing director was also in charge of the musical management in Hebrew. In fact, you can hear her as the female background vocals in most songs.
Most of the info was taken from the Ishim page of "LazyTown" (sort of an Israeli equivalent to IMDB), and of course, watching the show itself :)
I will try to dig up some more facts if possible hahahaha

That's wild. I also used to think of Extra as a season 3. If we also count Action Time, the Motivational Campaigns, Super Sproutlet Show & Orkuboltinn (even though that was Icelandic-exclusive and aired before LazyTown did) then LazyTown has had nine seasons!
