VCDs are generally cheaper to make than DVDs, for the price of lower quality and less space.
I would make sense for them to ship it out on a VCD when taking in to account that it's probably just a few of the music videos.

It's more like a collectors item because you don't want them for the quality of the videos. I extracted the DAT files wih some free software that I found on the netz.

Don't want VCDs for the quality of the videos.

But they can achieve stereo sound. That makes them better than VideoNow discs.
