I like to turn off compression when possible when exporting so I will try. I don't plan on upgrading anything. I will just re upload the episode. Also for some reason, when I record with my DVD recorder, it always records things in 4:3 picture. So I had to stretch out the video on youtube.

It is quite weird. I remember that lazytown was not sped up years ago on cbeebies. For some reason it is now. I don't know why.

I record them straight off a recorded DVD and then run them through an editing tool just to slow it down and then I re-export it and upload it. Should I bother slowing it down or should I just record and upload? I mean I have uploaded some music videos off my DVDs and they look perfect. I can easily do the same with the episodes.

one thing I don't get is people cutting out the songs. they're hardly ever the reason it'd get auto takendown! when an,episode I uploaded got taken down, it was because of it detecting some dialogue.

Well if you plan to 'upgrade' 360p videos to 720p the quality would still be the same unless you recorded the episodes already in HD 720p. We will see. You see a lot of those "HD"-videos on YouTube which are actualy low quality videos and converted to 720 or 1080p, only because it attracks more viewers. That's not gonna work.

It does take a long time to upload the episodes. But I can try to get the next in better quality.

The only thing different I can find is the pitch being raised a half step. This effect is caused by the European broadcast, which is sped up by 4%, and may affect the audio as well sometimes.

I also noticed that the airings now on Cartoonito are all raised a half step in pitch! They previously weren't. Weird.

That's some weirdness created by taking a shortcut in a framerate discrepancy. I can't remember the exact figures, but if I recall correctly, the Brits required the show to be at a higher framerate than it was filmed in, so it was literally sped up to meet that rate.

It looks like the video you uploaded on YouTube has less quality what you expect from 480p. Possibly a 360p version.

I found that awfully wierd as well. They are like that on netflix as well. So I put them through a program and slow them down.
