I don't know why, but I'm having trouble downloading Sportafake. I was downloading one of the parts and it suddenly stopped/cancelled/disappeared, and I didn't touch it. It keeps happening. :(
Is it just my dodgy computer, or is/did anyone else having/had similar problems?

Which part is it?

Part 2, I believe.

Well, I just downloaded part 2 again, and it worked fine for me.

As Dr. Joe said, sometimes MediaFire is a bit iffy, so if it doesn't work, just try again later.
And maybe try using a download manager.

About Double Trouble, I just checked my downloads and I do not have Double Trouble by OTR. So I would like to request that instead. :) If not, I'll try to get it from eMule.

EDIT (24 Feb 2008): Added the uploads requested by chuft. I uploaded the null version of Sportacus on the Move because there's a slight error in Skootch's encode, at least in the version I have. The 2:3 Pulldown Removal is off by a bit, as a result there are interlaced frames and twitchiness. Enjoy!

Minor update on Double Trouble, I haven't done anything yet. However, I plan to do an eMule session at the end of this week at the earliest. I plan on getting a bunch more of OTR's LazyTown encodes and sharing it on eMule for awhile.

That's pretty cool, did you make the proxy? Or did you find it? I remember having only a little bit of luck in finding a good SOCKS proxy. Also, did the DL limit say you had to wait 24 hours before downloading again?

I take it you were using Putty to do SSH and running SOCKS over that? (If not, you should be!) If so, try out silenceisdefeat. Their servers get bogged down sometimes, but the transfer speed is certainly better than waiting for MU to not be a hater...

On a related note, why not use rapidshare or mediafire?

Ah, that's pretty cool. I'll check it out, but I'm a cheapskate, so I probably won't use the site for a long while. Also, it's good to see that they really did change the time limit.

The only time I used a SOCKS Proxy was when I got banned from an IRC channel -- there were some script errors and stuff kept getting sent to me so they banned me for that, I was using mIRC at the time. I like the way this Putty sounds, I'll have to check that out too.

Although I like Mediafire, the files expire after a certain amount of time (makes sense due to inactivity). Rapidshare, I know has a 3 month limit too, but I haven't checked out completely what you can do with it. Megaupload lets you renew the expiration date of any file uploaded with your account and their expiration is 3 months too. They also have a happy hour that lets you temporarily have a premium account for about 3 hours (starts 12PM EST, I need to look it up again); restrictions are you need to have an account with them and you need to install their toolbar and click on "Happy Hour Premium" on the toolbar when it's available. I'm not sure if Rapidshare has something similar. Plus I can just upload the entire file without splitting it up, unless it's over 500MB, that is. :)

With Megaupload, I just upload once, and renew the expiration every 1-2 months. With the current information I have, Megaupload has a higher probability of having files available for longer periods of time than Mediafire. The only problem left is Megaupload kicking people from certain countries, I still need to look that one up since the old methods (Firefox) to bypass that are dead. Proxies is definately one way to bypass it, but I'm also looking for an easier way for people that don't know how to do that stuff.
