All of the episodes sport a video resolution of 1920x1080i, and use the MPEG-2 codec at an average bitrate of 15 Mbps. All episodes have Dolby Digital 5.1 audio @ 384 Kbps. This is exactly how Sprout HD distributed them; they have not been re-encoded from their original source for the best quality.
Is that how sprout released them or is that comcast compression? I'm sure if this was air tansmission the quality would be a hell of a better. Although I'm only going by Time Warner standards. Time Warner Cable HD is crap compared to Air transmission HD.

They are from WOW, not Comcast. No doubt if they were from Comcast they would be molested.
I do not know if Sprout is a native MPEG-4 or MPEG-2 channel. If it is distributed as MPEG-2; then I do not believe WOW is re-encoding the network as the bitrate is as high as 16 Mbps. If it's MPEG-4 distributed, then yes, it has been re-encoded to MPEG-2 by the cable provider, just like all your over-the-air affiliates must re-encode to MPEG-2. (ABC and NBC are native MPEG-4 distributed networks; CBS and PBS are MPEG-2 distributed, but all affiliates re-encode them anyway). If you'd like an example of affiliate re-encoding, here are some sample comparisons between the national PBS satellite distribution feed and New York's WNET PBS affiliate broadcasts over-the-air:
is it me or is part 13 of "Swiped Sweets" missing? :|
That's weird. I just looked in my folder with the downloaded episodes and I have Swiped Sweets unpacked as full file there. I don't have the rar files anymore but I can't remember having problems unpacking because part 13 was missing :?
Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.

hm that's strange bc I get a error message each time due to the missing part 13 ...maybe the file got removed from the server for some reasons...

I guess so.. Somehow I remember for one episode that there where two part 1's and another part was missing so I renamed one of the part 1 into the part number that was missing. I can't remember if that was for this episode. Anyway it's not there anymore so Xizer probably deleted the file by accident.

I think the second part of 'Sleepless in LazyTown' is gone missing too. It was there before, because I downloaded the episode successfully.
Oh, and did someobody manage to download the ninth part of 'Sportacus Who?' First it was temporarily unavailable, then marked as illegal, now "no servers are currently available with the requested data on them ... (-101)", whenever I try it. Might be a German Telekom issue, though.
He, I just notice, I said "amazing", I said "nice", but I didn't say "thank you" yet. So: Thank you, Xizer! These videos are one giant leap for LazyTown - uh - fankind, really!

I think I know who did the strange voice of Pixel! That guy that did the voice of Bear in "Bear In The Big Blue House". I knew it heard it somewhere before!
