I think one of the best things about the Netfix streams is that they don't edit or add water marks to the show. Sprouts has really large animated watermarks that pop on screen at any random moment. Did you know that the NBC kids airings not only cut out the Sportacus intros but they also snip tiny moments within each episode! :angr:
I noticed it in the "Who's Who" episode right before the two Stephanies sing the bing bang song side by side next to eachother. They actually cut a few of Sportacus's lines were he says "The Stephanie I know is always smiing". They cut the moment were they bought smiled and were Sportacus says "and shes always singing" out of the episode . They also started doing a split screen to air the credits along side the last few moments of the show which messes up he Bing Bang song. Plus those creepy little hand that creep onto the screen everytime they to cut in and out of commercial breaks take me out of the show.

I don't like that creepy little hand too. So, I saw other channels who had airing LT on HD are so best, but quality wasn't good. I will Rip them from Cartoon Network.

Good idea!
Heres a video that shows a side by side comparison of how NBC KIDS edits / cuts scenes out of Lazytown season 3 episodes. I hope this is helpful.
wait...does it mean that almost every rip we got from NBC is somehow "incomplete"?...damn...I wonder why they are doing that
While I'm not sure if NBC has edited every single episode I have noticed missing moments on a few episodes including the "who's who" episode I posted an example video of above. As to why they are editing / butchering the episodes the answer is simple. They do it to make more MONEY. NBC and other network channels have been cutting / trimming syndicated shows and movies to make room for more commercials since as fare back as the 90s. The more commercials they can stuff into every episode the more money the network makes and since they know that the average viewer will probably never notice the cuts they get away with it.
This is what NBC does to Lazytown in order to make room for more tv ads.
A) They cut the Sportacus intros
B) They started replacing the longer Lazytown theme song in season one and two with the shorter version they started using in season 3. I only saw NBC air the longer version once in the past year when they aired a season 2 episode which I recorded.
C) They go as fare as to cut a few seconds within the episodes themselves to make room for at least 2 more tv commercials (if the episode runs a few seconds long) which in my opinion is really low.
D) They run the ending credits at the same time as the Bing bang / Robbie rotten closing scenes by splitting the screen in half and showing them both at the same time instead of just rolling the credits after the show ends.
thought so...didn't expect though that tv broadcaster are allowed to manipulate original footage...so since you have payed the royalty once you are allowed to screw it up ad libitum?...man...that can't be right
I saw episode "Who's Who" on channel Toggo & SuperRTL it was amazing. So, you can Rip episodes?
I'm able to record stuff from my tv via USB stick but unfortunately Samsung has it's own format there and it isn't IBM compatible...so you can only watch via Samsung tv devices...there are some complicated procedures to convert it into a usable format but I'm too lazy and too old for this shit...so I'm sorry no
