      Re: No BAFTA Nomination 2009

      I'm not really surprised.
I doubt they will be nominated for anything until they start producing more stuff.
They have already been airing for 5 years. I think any awards that they could have won have already passed.
      But you never know

Ok it's right, no creation it's equivalent to no nomination. Last year it was LazyTown Extra I guess, next year it should be the movie.

Magnus said in interview 15th november i think it was, that they haven't even written the script for the movie, or found any producers etc, so i doubt the movie will be ready for next year.

Suzanne: So, tell me about the LazyTown movie. Are the rumors about the LazyTown movie confirmed?

Magnus: Not confirmed. What they are doing right now in Hollywood is that we are seeking producers to, to produce the LazyTown movie. And the LazyTown movie, I think it’s gonna be about Sportacus number 1, and Sportacus number 11 is maybe gonna be in it as well. So this will tell the back-story where did Sportacus get the moustache etcetera etcetera. And it’s a fantastic family movie that will scale much older as well, so it will be a family movie.

Suzanne: Any information about the cast?

Magnus: No not yet. We are, we, we’re, when we have, we are writing the scripts right now and get the producer, and the right producer and the right distribution to write but then you would look for the cast.

I wonder why they find no producer for the movie...I suppose that the economic risk and the danger of a flop is too big...If one thinks that "Lazy Town" is quite unpopular on the biggest media market USA one can understand this appraisal...even a success of the film in South America and Europe would be probably too unattractive for the yield expectations of the producers, not least because of the not low production costs....but the hope dies last..

And I think Magnus needs make something for Julianna´s Character and become Stephanie on an Adult. Because each year Juli is older and her character needs change the age.

And I have few reasons why LT Extra wasn´t nominated (of course are my ideas, maybe you haven´t the same opinion):
                            1. It´s true that´s not called actually like a "Season", it´s an Extra.
                            2. OK, yes, new episodes, not a "Season" actually but the problem is actually are same plots like on First Season, so, repeat the same on a different format but it´s the same.
                            3. Like UK and Latin America have a different versions, where they need nominate the episodes? On National?, NO, it´s not from UK. On International?, NEITHER, because that´s means that Latin America must win the award too and not only the English Version.

A big problem was the different versions, maybe if they translate the English Version of Kids from UK and not record with Kids from Latin America, one problem fix, because they can nominate it on International because it´s the same for everybody, the another problem was about new format but same plot from first season, so, an award is for new stories, not same stories from other seasons.

*Sigh* Noooooo you people have it all wrong! The world isn't going to end in 2012. The world, AS WE KNOW IT is ending. See, after LazyTown relisences in 2011 and relaunches in the US, people will actaully realize how amazing of a show it is. Not just some people, or many people, ALL people will. On December 21, 2012, the United States of America will officially change it's name to the United States of LazyTown. Ecomonic production will consist of only LazyTown products, stores will sell no more candy or junk food, all external wars would be ceased (for we would be too busy fighting everyone named Robbie inside our country), and the entire country will be remoldeled to look similar to LazyTown. I don't know where all this Mayan calender, doomsday, apocalypse, magnetic field, planet x, solar flare stuff comes from, but it's all bull s#!&
