I'm kind of upset this play hasn't uncovered online already. Just by looking at the trailer, you can see that this isn't some ordinary re-skin play. Notably, you can see the WANO crew make a return, as well as Robbie Rotten taking over Lazytown in what seems to be brute force. Can this play be found so it can be translated?

Re: Help me find a pirated copy of Ævintýri í Latabæ!
Hi, to be honest, I'm not totally sure when the trailer footage you linked was shot, I'm thinking during a rehearsal before release, but I've personally confirmed separately with both Þjóðleikhúsið management, as well as with the director of the play, Rúnar Freyr Gíslason, that the play was not recorded during its run.
Yes, you are right, that the play and story is an original, not a re-skin or retelling of any existing story. However, it was not well received, and did not run for very long, which is maybe why it was never recorded. Very disappointing for you, me, and all of the other LazyTown fans across the globe who aren't able to see it, but that's the reality of things. It's possible that an audience member recorded the full performance, but I've not seen any evidence of that being the case.Comment

Do you at least know any story details? Anything that might be interesting?Comment

I think it would be interesting to see, just from a fan perspective; but if ever there were footage from it I wouldn't expect too too much because the reviews unfortunately weren't too good.Comment

I rounded up some information and reviews of the play! Thanks to Google Translate I was able to understand some of them.
This one has the runtime and a plot synopsis. From what I understand Robbie cloned himself to do villainy everywhere, got an army of robots, and outlawed Sportacus and other sports stuff while capturing the citizens. His evil plan was to make LazyTown prime real estate. http://stage.is/icelandic/griman/lei...yri_i_latabae/
This one isn't a review, but discusses a casting change as Stefan Karl was busy being the Grinch at the time. https://www.mbl.is/frettir/innlent/2...pur_i_latabae/
This one is from someone who had never seen LazyTown before. They liked it. https://kvennabladid.is/2014/09/15/e...tur-i-latabae/
This one is short, and they also liked it. https://pjatt.is/leikhus-salurinn-da...i-med-latabae/

Here's a more detailed, critical review, getting into technical issues, pacing and plot problems, and criticizing lack of foreshadowing. http://www.visir.is/g/2014709179943Attached FilesComment
