No I have several other pieces of art glass but only one radioactive one. I do wish I had bought that carnival glass sugar bowl I saw on Ebay once.

I had to look that one up. I didn't remember the type of glass. I think I have something like that. Not a sugar bowl.

The news here was that rich people are moving out of NYC, to Florida, since the new mayor. Not sure if that's the best place.

I wouldn't worry about it. They always say alot of things they never go through with. Lame duck mayor.
Even our Gov Hochul said she has no plans of doing anything for Mamadni's campaign promises.
And that's all it was empty promises. During his campaign he stated he won't need money after the election. Guess what he's doing now?
Begging his supporters for money for his transition team. Oh boy. Can't wait for a big blizzard to hit the city under Mamdani.

I'm not going to last these four years. I'll be going to the great gig in the sky with the dying laughing my ass off for four years. If he lasts that long.

Quarter of Florida residents are considering leaving state

A quarter of Florida residents are β€œseriously” considering leaving the state because of the high cost of living, according to a new survey which found that an β€œaffordability anxiety” has spread among those who call the Sunshine State their home.

"The Netherlands Has a Size Problem…"

The Netherlands has long had an innovative and competitive economy. That being said, the recent data shows that the economy is showing a bit of a slowdown. In this video, we're taking a look at what's slowing the economy and why it's starting to look a bit shaky.

The graphs in the video speak for themselves, but with my background, I personally don't notice much of anything.
So I can talk about it and share my opinion but it's not important. Why talk about things that don't concern you.

I was just curious to see how accurate it was without having to spend time to check. I get all sorts of videos
playing randomly in the background while I do my other stuff. Some videos do capture my attention.
              Again, was just curious.

I could see energy being an issue. I know Germany had to reactivate their coal power plants
to keep up with demand for increase in manufacturing, data centers and whatnot.

Anyway, random videos like this (when I'm not listening to music)

Cursed AI Doctors are Selling Scams as β€œHealth Advice”

I've also seen stuff about people taking legal advice from "Ai lawyers"
and getting pro se hammered in court because it was wrong.

Well Ai is a whole other issue. I don't know which is worse. The Ai or the People blindly using it.

Research suggests that learning to play a musical instrument does far more than provide artistic satisfaction; it appears to fundamentally alter how the brain maps the physical body in space. A new analysis indicates that trained musicians possess a superior ability to maintain their physical orientation and balance, even in the absence of visual cues.

Musician is a broad term, but in this research they mean people who play one actual instrument. There's also a very large group of musicians who create music through programming, and can control various virtual instruments. And also use simultaneous and precise coordination of touch, hearing, and vision but in a different way. I think it is a shortcoming that they do not make this clear in the study.

I wonder if it applies to people who can reproduce a song by ear and play it one note at a time with one finger
