There's a Full Scan option but it looks like it'll take a while. I'll run that
    when I go to bed.

One Hiccup. There's two more options Short smart scan and Extended smart scan.
Seems I can't run those without the latest Samsung NVMe driver

I looked it up. There is a Samsung NVMe driver version 3.3 but it only states
    up to Windows 10

    https://semiconductor.samsung.com/co...support/tools/

"The driver supports Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
Recommended minimum system configuration is Intel Haswell Refresh Processor, 2GB RAM, 50MB free disk space and UEFI Bios v2.3."

I did come across posts of people installing that with no issue on Windows 11 but I dunno.

It's been using the standard Windows NVM driver from 2006.

On another plus note it has Drive Migration. Yay a drive cloning tool.

Haven't had this one in a while. Then entire desktop goes wonky. Only the Hwinfo remained but flashing.

I was able to get to the task manager (ctrl-alt-del) and do a shut down. But on booting down got a BSOD
This time is was Reference by Pointer. This is one the random ones I spoke of besides the memory BSOD.

Not my image below. I had the phone sitting next to me with the camera app open. Didn't think there was going
to be a BSOD and of course I missed the pic. Was just about to get the shot too. It goes too fast.

"Reference by pointer" is about the most generic thing possible, it's like saying "value in memory."

No doubt AI wrote a lot of Win11 code, therefore it sucks.

Just got another ones of those random BSODS. PNF LIST CORRUPT. The most annoying part about all this is
that I could go days with no problems. Very mind boggling.

I asked the artificial idiot. It said, based on stolen information,

A PFN list (Page Frame Number list) is a Windows database that tracks the physical memory pages (RAM) currently in use, and a "PFN List Corrupt" error indicates issues with this list or the hardware and software components it relies on, such as RAM, system files, or drivers. Common causes include faulty or outdated hardware (especially RAM), corrupted system files or drivers, and conflicts with third-party software like antivirus programs. To fix this error, you can try updating drivers, running the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool, performing System File Checker (SFC) and CHKDSK scans, uninstalling recently installed software, or checking for hardware problems with your RAM.

I think the problem here is you are a slacker and don't do enough chkdsk scans.

Welp got one of the last ones of the random BSODs that I remember getting. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Still waiting for the usual actual Memory error. Haven't seen that one in a bit.

Aren't IRQ's hardware interrupts? I think you have some bad hardware somewhere. RAM, SSD, something. Maybe mobo.

It could be mobo. I've thought about that but that would require serious tech testing equipment to diagnose.

Oh no. Didn't look into the errors other than blaming the OS since a lot and I mean a lot of people
have been experiencing those random crashes. I've heard plenty of youtubers mention that
about their Windows 11 computer. They'd be working on things and poof crash.

Thanks. I'll check it out now

5 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. No offending third party drivers have been found. Consider using WhoCrashed Professional which offers more detailed analysis using symbol resolution. Also configuring your system to produce a full memory dump may help you.

Instead of a minidump you can have it dump the entire contents of memory. 25GB or more.

There are some instructions here for Win 11 which also references some steps from Windows 10.

                          https://support.kaspersky.com/us/com...cs/3055#block4

                          https://support.kaspersky.com/us/com...cs/3055#block1

Presumably WhoCrashed could tell more from this than a minidump.

There are other tools as well for analyzing crash dumps, I just haven't used them.

That PNF error. Led me to discover that my CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX DDR4 RAM 32GB
does not in fact contain a temperature diode. How nice.

No, Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 RAM does not have a temperature diode. Most standard, non-RGB, DDR4 memory kits lack this feature because they typically don't generate enough heat to require monitoring under normal use.
I was looking through the normal search results below the Ai generalization and saw this link and clicked it

Are you overclocking? I thought you said you turned on that auto-overclock thing in the BIOS. Turn it off. I read a lot of people saying it causes instability.
