Cyclone Alfred (03–2025)

This week my area is getting hit by Alfred a category 2 cyclone.

The cyclone is hitting either between Thursday or Friday. With rain expected on Wednesday.

This also means no schooling for me for a while

Anyway I haven’t really been on here for a bit properly. So, how are y’all doing

I don't know much about cyclones but it sounds pretty serious. I hope everyone stays safe and there's no serious property damage either.

Today my family was putting stuff away from the garden to the porch. Which set off a wasp spot (it wasn’t a nest thankful) and a group of ants went all over me. Cleared the gutters and everything. Tomorrow my family is going to get food and supplies for the cyclone (hopefully no power outages in my area). But I have been filming and taking photos of the outside though for private reasons. Not only that but I have a family member who’s travelling back on Saturday which a day after the bad part of the cyclone. And I don’t think they going fly here on that day as it been predicted to be a category 3 now too. If not it will be a very bad category 2

The actual cyclone starts tomorrow on Thursday evening to Friday morning. With my city is getting hit by the middle of the cyclone by 7am Friday according from a weather radar I use. The news says that the Gold Coast and northern NSW (Mostly Lismore) is getting the worst of it probably because they are the worst for floods

They always seem to hit in the dark. It's a real pain in the neck. Usually when one comes here it hits around midnight.

🫡 rip unless it’s those weird 1/2 story houses where it’s has a garage at the bottom and has the whole house on the second floor with stairs outside (if you know what means type house) then you would survive. My school is cooked there a bunch of tall trees and has a lake near it. But didn’t most northern NSW schools already closed since yesterday afternoon?

Btw update those ants bites from yesterday made me have a whole bloody migraine today. So, I got to go home so early, in the first class of day. Though been stuck in the health room before school started.

Well I believe most schools around my area are closing tomorrow or Friday. I hope my school’s English block gets smashed by a tree or 2. Bruh I don’t want to go back on Monday 😭🙏. Plus there’s already a few trees around my school’s area which has fallen down. Maybe your school probably waiting for the cyclone to come closer or your area is not getting hit as badly. I was told some NSW schools have already been closed since Tuesday evening by the teachers in the health room. Hopefully the power, Mobile data and internet doesn’t go out during it (even though it’s during nighttime) because I need my air fryer, microwave, lights (Because my house doesn’t have torches) and my technology
