I always assumed that those puppets were used for an all puppet icelandic kid's show in between the Glanni play and the current LazyTown.

Then again there aren't that many clips, and i don't think i've read anything that confirmed or even mentioned an all puppet show. So perhaps it was just a pilot that was made before the shelby young pilot? idk, just thinking aloud.

I've been thinking about the Latibaer puppets this morning, the ones that 'Wit puppets' (Gudmundur Thor Karason's company) made that were based on the Latibaer plays and included Sportacus, Stephanie and Robbie as puppets.

Holy bump. I can confirm that at least Stingy and Ziggy were voiced by the same people for the amount of time that they were used. At least I think.
