I may be an actress and VA, but I'm also a professional illustrator and designer. I generally work in the character design, creature design, concept art, book illustrations, merchandise and fashion design areas, but I do the occasional piece of fan art here and there. I really enjoy it and it keeps me loose in between commission work.

However it's commissioned is how I'll do it. People tend to prefer digital work though when it comes to things such as merchandising and (Shockingly) things such as character design and book illustrations. I just create it however I feel it would best suit the clients needs. Sometimes they'll want digital, but when I show them an idea done traditionally (Say graphite on paper) they often change their minds. I do, of course, still digitally enhance traditionally made pieces to clean them up a bit.

I, personally, prefer digital art since I can be more precise, but I enjoy putting pencil to paper too. It's all down to what the image is to be honest.
