No. A lot of thieving goes on at deviantart, so if you've worked particularly hard on something, you can add a watermark to it, which puts people off stealing it and uploading it as their own. It also serves as advertising, someone might like your style and commision you.

I only plan to use it as a wallpaper. I definitely wouldn't try to claim it as my own, as an artistically crippled person I have too much respect for people with skills.

While I doubt someone would visit this forum with the intention of stealing other artists work as a moderator I'm sure you could always modify his post so no-one else can try to steal the image, that is unless yh would do so first.
