I made some karaoke files and I was hoping some people would be interested in giving them a try. I need some opinions on it to see if it they're actually fun or not. :) Also I would love to get opinions on color, font, timing, and such.
For anyone interested in testing, I made a Karafun version and a CDG version. You may also need to install a program or two. Firstly, here are the karaoke files:
WTL_karafun.rar (6.86 MB)

WTL_CDG.rar (2.83 MB)
http://anonym.to/?http://www.mediafire.com/?azzmdivzxee
Both archives have the same music, I just put them there for convenience. Whoops, just noticed a mistake, the .kfn file has the MP3 inside it already! Anyway, there's a Vocal version and a Karaoke version for each. You can practice with the Vocal version and then you can sing for real with the Karaoke version.
For Windows users, Karafun is both free and can play both formats giving above (.KFN and .CDG). Found here: http://anonym.to/?http://www.karafun.com/karaokeplayer/
If you only want CDG playability on Windows, then Karaoke Builder CD+G Player is what you want (free too). Found here: http://anonym.to/?http://www.karaokebui ... plinfo.php
I am unsure of Mac compatibility, but there is a shareware version of QMidi that claims to play CDG and MP3 files. Found here: http://anonym.to/?http://www.geocities.com/mixage/
CDG is preferrable since that's what Karaoke bars use. Just burn them onto CD specifically in CDG mode and pop them into a karaoke player. Thanks for your time.
