I actually prefer the faster tempo of Easy Way but yeah, the lyrics are kinda like... rough.
They probably chose Gizmo Guy cause it kinda sums up Pixels character better, while Easy Way is just focused on that particular episode, rather than the characters theme tune....

well thats my two cents of over thinking things.
