Someone asked me about a good video editor and I don't really have a answer to that becase the problem is that I only use one most of the time. That is the MPEG video editor (update 2008) from Womble, it my main editor, it does what it does: editing (per frame, so that is pretty accurate if you want something to synchronise with the audio) and exports to mp4 H264 in HD. I did use Magix Video Deluxe 2008 Plus (in German language) also but that has some disadvantage in decoding and it can't read H264, I couldn't find an english version so that's a limiting thing either. Also Adobe After Effects is awesome but very hard to learn if you're a starter but if you want to learn it and make cool effects this is the right piece of software imo. I have never used Microsofts editor, it's on my computer but I have bad experience with Microsoftware.
