LazyWiki needs some SERIOUS updating...

The only recent activity is spambots creating userpages, data on many characters/episodes/other stuff is too thin for a specialist wiki, so who wants to clean up the wiki? Count me in, the state is saddening me.

I've acquired a couple more of the Icelandic DVDs since I last added anything, so I'll dig them out later on and fill in a few more of the empty boxes on that page.

I've started some work there about a month or so ago, but since I noticed NOONE checks there any more, I just stoped...I can resume in a few days, after the last of my exams

Episode summaries. I'll take character data and pop culture references (if needed), as well as some data on the Icelandic versions.

No need for spoiler warnings on the episode summaries; a lot of people will have already seen the episodes, and organise it into Sportacus's prologue, episode and conclusion summary.

i've asked for help on the lazytown community on LJ, but they seem a little suspicious that GL runs the wiki.

That's pretty cool, a revival of sorts for the LazyWiki. Maybe I can help with the LJ motivation too, I haven't been there in awhile.

I really need to find out how this works and how you edit in this site, it has a few dead links and info is not so very up to date. Are people actually editing some info in there ?

I thought about this today. I went on it and clicked "random page" a few times and it seriously took me quite a while to be given a page that wasn't some sort of spam/nonsense... pretty bad. I've always felt like adding things, actually, but never really got round to it.

I remember when I first discovered the Wiki, in may 2009...I thought it was amazing how much LT info was on there...I actualy joined the wiki before the forum...I did a little editing, but then I just gave up, because I thought no one checks it out anyway, so why bother with it?
BTW should I scan my romanian DVDs when I have them all, and add the pics to the wiki? Or no one cares about that?

I'm most likely too lazy to help, but maybe the wikipedia code allows for an "allowed users list" for wiki article additions or editing. If that does exist, Xizer could put it in and allow non-spamming bots to be a part of that list. Of course, that is more work and requires someone to actually work with that list.
