Julie Westwood does Pixel's UK voice, I'm not sure about Trixie although I think I've read it somewhere...

That's probably my biggest beef with the UK dubs. Unless your name is Christine Cavanaugh or Nancy Cartwright, I HATE it when women do voices for little boys. It just usually sounds so....bleh...

I thought for a minute you meant Tara Strong had worked on Lazytown, which I almost wouldn't be surprised at considering that she's in almost EVERYTHING...

I actually like Sarah's voice for Stingy. But Pixel's UK voice sucks, whether it's Julie or whoever did it for LT Extra. I love Julie but I thought her Pixel voice was pretty dire at times. As for Ziggy, I don't think either of his voices are amazing or very representative of a six-year-old boy, although they both fit the character pretty well. Sometimes in the US version he has a little bit of an Icelandic accent coming through which is quite interesting. I can't recall any particularly good foreign voices for the kids off the top of my head.

Although I don't think it would really work for Lazytown, I'd like to see more kids' shows with children voicing child characters. It's very effective in stuff like Charlie and Lola.

Anyone see the episode of Basil Brush that Julie Westwood was actually in... not just puppeteering? She played the head of MI6 I think...

1. Her name is on the credits everytime.
2. It sounds like the same person who does Stingy.
3. It sounds like the same person who does Brassy.
4. It sounds more or less like the American voice that she also did.

No... her UK voice for Stingy has this sound in it that sounds like Trixie... cross American Trixie and UK Stingy and you get Brassy I think.

It does, hear Trixie in the Time to start the show song in American English when she says ''A zebra, even a lion'', and you can notice her UK Stingy sound.
