Im wondering a little about the LazyTown pilot with Shelby Young. I know she wasn't playing Stephanie after the pilot due to the union, but why didn't they use the puppets used in this pilot, and why didn't Stingy and Trixie appear at all? (They might have but i haven't seen the full pilot yet only clips).

It is common for pilots to change quite a bit between themselves and the actual series.
What happens is someone comes to a company with an idea. If they like it, they give them a small amount of money and basically say "show me what you can do with this." If they like what they see, they give the creator and the team much more money to create the real deal, perhaps after altering the idea to fit their standards. Odds are they didn't have the time or money to create all the puppets. They did create some sort of models for them, however. Although I know the pic is uploaded somewhere around here, I can't find it. So here it is again:
I could have sworn there was a picture with Bessie and the Mayor as well but I can't seem to find it now..
By the looks of Trixie and Stingy, my guess is that they are fairly small clay or ceramic models.

About the Pilot episode characters
Here is the photos of the Pilot puppets that where posted in the thread "Wit Puppets"
And as i said earlier in this thread, i would love to see more pictures of the Pilot puppets, and of course Shelby Young as Stephanie.
Does anybody have a picture of Bessie and the Mayor from the pilot?
Stingy looks like clay in the pictures from the pilot btw.
