Re: 2008 Lazytown production (26 new mini-episodes)
I reckon the following won’t apply to 99.9% of you reading this, but who knows?
(some of you have kids and live in England)........
If you are aged between 6 and 11, play basketball, and live in the Middlesbrough area (UK), then LTE researcher, Genny Cotroneo is looking for players who would like to show off their skills for a possible part in Lazytown Extra.
LTE are producing the show for the CBeebies channel on the BBC. It will contain all of the popular characters from the original, but to add to the health consciousness and physical motivation of the programme, this new series will involve children from the UK carrying out various sporting activities including basketball, and an organisation called Game Time, a company that provides specialist sports coaching services, has been approached to help find any possible Michael Jordans.
The Lazytown Extra basketball trails/auditions will be on Wednesday 30th April from 6-8pm at Macmillan Academy in Middlesbrough. If you would like to show off your skills and possibly be selected to appear on the show, contact Game Time at [email protected] or phone 01642 814221
All players will have to sign some parental consent forms.
Filming for any lucky players picked will start May/June.
(sorry for the short notice - I've been kinda out the picture recently and just found this information in the local on-line newspaper - it’s been up since 11th April!)
