Re: Lazytown Extra 2008 (26 new mini-episodes)
Some more info on LTextra released today by Licensing.biz........
“Each themed episode will be between 11 and 14 minutes in duration - seven minutes of each show being produced by LazyTown Entertainment and the remainder localised in key markets in co-production agreements with broadcast partners.
Still featuring all of the LazyTown characters, the new show features locally produced content in each episode.
Cbeebies is co-producing an English-speaking version, with filming currently taking place around the UK. Once available it is expected to air in several other English-speaking markets and on the Cbeebies channel globally.
LazyTown is also in talks with eight other territories for potential co-production partnerships.
"We are very excited about this new format for LazyTown and delighted by the positive reaction from our broadcast partners," said Magnus Scheving, CEO and creator of LazyTown. "This takes the LazyTown brand in a new direction opening up even more opportunities."”
