I... don't own a cellphone. >_> I'm supposed to go get one this year, but I'll probably forget... Well, I'm sure friends will remind me. They don't like it when I wander off and they have no way of contacting me XD
What sort of phone/service would be best for someone who rarely uses phones to begin with, using them only in emergency or when there's no other way to contact someone?Note

I do have a cellphone but I ise it very rarely as well, mostly just to check the time actually. I have no idea what brand or model it is and I honestly don't care either.sigpicNote

Back when I used to have a cell phone I used a company called jump mobile. They have a deal where you get free incoming calls and free txt msging. It was pretty awesome... I paid $50 every 3 months. That gave me 500 minutes. You just txt someone to call you and everythings free of charge.Note

It's pretty cool. I still haven't taken the time to figure everything out about it yet so it's a little ghetto-rigged at the moment to do what I sort of want. One of these days I'll figure it completely out. I did, however, manage to buy and understand the 2GB flash card I use with it. It's got a ton of music on it.
