Okay, this is news to me.

With Digital Cable, Nickelodeon runs Nick GAS, on which they show classic shows. Now, also, they have Noggin, which they show kids stuff and then Degrassi for the rest of the day. Here's the news- Nick is shutting down Nick GAS by the end of the year, and replacing it with The N (all the kids stuff including lazytown), and just probably having every day be filled with Degrassi.

Might be a repost, but once again, news to me.

Eh, I think it could be General news, given I'm sure some people here are fans of Classic Nick. (Bigtime Legends of the Hidden Temple fan right here)

I wish I had GAS, I always loved Legends of the Hidden Temple and Nick Arcade.

Anyway, we discussed this news briefly in another thread, but we're not too hopeful for LT becoming prominent in the Noggin lineup because the press release didn't mention it, and Viacom doesn't seem willing to air it.

I'm not all that big on Nick, but I wish they would consider adding some classic Nick Jr. programming to Noggin and a greater variety to The N.

They had an episode on today in which they animated CATDOG onto the panel.
