Re: ITT: Xizer posts another negative U.S. story
Ok guys, I actually live in the state this is happening, there are a couple black people in NH lol. I havn't seen many though, lets just say ooozmin is basically the only black person I know. Not because I'm raciest, but because I can't meet any black people, since they don't live around here.Originally posted by XizerI heard there's like three.

That's a load of crap. You can't charge a teenager for having sex with another teen! It's... ludicrous! I could understand if it was adult+teen, but not teen+teen. That girl's father KNOWS he was bangin' chicks left and right when he was a kid. No reason he should punish a guy for doing exactly what he did when he was that age. He's just ticked that someone stole his precious' little angel's innocence... argh, I'm done ranting.- Translate

Re: ITT: Xizer posts another negative U.S. story
Actually, the law states that sex with a minor is illegal PERIOD. There are no stipulations for both being under the age of consent. If two underage teens are having sex either one or both can be charged. That very rarely ever happens because most reasonable minded people choose to let the parents handle it. And it's a hell of a lot of paperwork charging minors with crimes.Originally posted by DawnStarThat's a load of crap. You can't charge a teenager for having sex with another teen! It's... ludicrous! lol, I just read my post and and realized something- yeah, I know you a minor can be charged for having sex with another minor, but I mean... why would someone do that? It's just supposed to be a part of life. Alot of teens have sex... it's almost natural (but let me make it clear that I'm against premarital, soOriginally posted by lost4everActually, the law states that sex with a minor is illegal PERIOD. Re: ITT: Xizer posts another negative U.S. story
I think those ads are funny... we live in a world where sex is freakin' everywhere, so it doesn't seem as bad as it used to be. I think it's kinda sad though that so much 'adulthood' is being forced on children. Seems like they just don't have the chance to enjoy childhood like I did. I remember playing in the mud and stuff when I was 16 and I didn't give a rat's behind about sex. Oh well... maybe that's just me.Originally posted by notoriousAds would lead you to believe that the majority of teens don't have sex. Re: ITT: Xizer posts another negative U.S. story
Prosecutors rarely pursue these cases if it was consensual sex (California being a notable exception.) Unless it's a high profile case (such as the child of a politician) Those minors that actually do get charged usually have the charges dropped before before a jury is called because judges and prosecutors know that most jurys (sp?) will not return a guilty verdict in cases of consensual sex.Originally posted by DawnStarlol, I just read my post and and realized something- yeah, I know you a minor can be charged for having sex with another minor, but I mean... why would someone do that? If a minor is charged it's often just a scare tactic and after a few days in court the charges will be dropped and the teen given a stern warning.

Re: ITT: Xizer posts another negative U.S. story
So the adult father kicks a 17 year olds ass, and the 17 year old is the one being punished for having what I'm assuming is consensual sex with someone in his own age group?
At the very least, I hope the father gets punished too. I can understand why he'd be pissed, but that is no excuse to beat on some teenager.WWJD

Re: ITT: Xizer posts another negative U.S. story
The problem here is the father assaulted this minor on public property, giving him wounds that he had to go to the hospital for.
That father is getting a slap on the wrist with some wimpy little charge like "simple assault."
In the meantime, the boy faces a year in prison and potentially a lifetime on the sex offender registry, which I also think is bullshit, but we won't get into that topic now.
Something fishy is going on. Also, why doesn't New Hampshire have a "Romeo and Juliet" clause?- Translate
