Man what a school, you are missing for one period and they do a school wide search...WTF

Actually I like that idea. With all the current media hype about child abductions I like a school that will take such proactive action if someone doesn't show up without an explanation.

I don't, my school would probably send out search parties for me every wednesday. (I was involved in a school sponsored program that took place off my high school's campus. On wednesdays, school started late, so in order to attend this program, I had to skip 3rd period. The school still marked me absent every time, even after I explained the situation multiple times)

Kids are forced to grow up too fast these days. When I was 15, all I thought about was horses, Dr Who, playing Dungeons and Dragons and going ice skating with my friends (girls and boys). Mind you, all I think about now is horses, Dr Who, Lazytown, and going out to resturants with the same bunch of friends....

Well, my school seems to be the exact opposite.
Most things can be exused by simply saying you just had a music lesson, which lot's of people have. In fact, I can literally walk out into the street on the grounds of having a music lesson.
I never actually thought of it this way until this thread, strangely enough. In fact, they don't even take roles at the end of the day, there's a fair chance someone could just walk out and go unnoticed.

Of course, I never actually use the true potential of this power. ;)
