You forgot about Burj Dubai, due to be the tallest building in the world:


To be completed late 2008.
Counting the antenna it will be about 2,684 ft tall.

Here is another building I like for your collection, Edgar. I'm not sure if you can go inside the structure itself but I think its architecturally awesome!

The Grande Arche de la Fraternité is a monument in the business district of La Défense to the west of Paris. It is usually known as the Arche de la Défense or simply as La Grande Arche.

For now I think it is.
Wait, shouldn't there be more than three buildings taller than the Empire State Building in the world? It's been around for 70 years and it has only been surpassed in height three times?

funny that the height is measured in feet in that picture but the margin of error is given in meters.

There we go. Even while excluding the World Trade Center you're left with nine buildings taller than the Empire State Building, or eleven including WTC.
