    XBOX 360 HELP!!

    I have a cooler king, had to take it off for the component cable for HDTV BUT i want to put it back on as the 360 seems to be weird now, froze last night for the first time in months


    and i still want it to play in HD so i think i need a VGA cable, ive seen many around so what VGA cable should i get that is good?


    the official xbox 360 one or a different one? i need one ASAP ready for the simpsons game friday and smackdown vs raw in 2 weeks

    Those extra cooler things are trash.

    Just get component cables, those are the best kind you can get for your model 360.

      everyone says the coolers are shit but trust me they aint, had my 360 2 months then it broke, bought a cooler and its been fine for 6 months, took it off so i can play HD and its froze twice, seems a bit jumpy


      trust me coolers are good for it

        trust me coolers are good for it

        I had a cooler, it was loud and was the hottest thing on my desk.

        Get component cables.

          which cooler did you ahve? mine makes no noise and its not hot at all


          ot components but 360 is playign up all of a sudden though

            It was a pelican back cooler. it had extra usb and video adapters on it.

              yes im not stupid lol everyhting is connected properly


              ive moved my 360 abit now to a different spoy(moved it a tiny bit but theres a bigger gap now) have to see if it does it any better, got 2 good games coming a week after each other and dont want it to break

                If you experience HDTV lag, maybe you should go the VGA cable way. It depends on your TV though. IGN recommended the VGA cable as a potential way to deal with the lag. Here's a bunch of links about the lag:

                The main reason for the VGA cable is to set your Xbox 360 to the native resolution of your HDTV so that your TV doesn't have to upscale or downscale.

                Anywho, if it's about price, which I don't know actually, get the official one if it's the same price as third-party ones. Or if the component is cheaper than the VGA cable and you get no lag, then maybe that way. :)
